Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Spinning Aufheben Method : -Comparison of idea generation methods-

Creating original and valuable ideas is one of the most difficult tasks for human intelligence. To help with this, many idea generation methods have been proposed. We propose the Spinning Aufheben Method (SA Method), which combines multiple keywords to generate ideas and then refines them through evaluations from different perspectives. Managing the large number of keyword combinations and calculations in the SA Method can be complex, so we developed an application to support this process. In this study, we created an application to help generate ideas with the SA Method. We also conducted experiments to compare and analyze four scenarios: (1) without any idea generation method, (2) using mind mapping, (3) using an application that simplifies some SA Method steps, and (4) using an application that follows all steps of the SA Method. We conclude that results suggest the possibility, but further accumulation of studies are necessary to reinforce the result.
