IoT Based Cloud-Integrated Smart Parking System With Reservation

Smart Parking System as a better alternative that accepts QR codes for the ESP32CAM is a tiny module based on ESP32 chip and OV2640. User Acceptance Testing has been performed with the help of the QR codes. The proposed system is based on ESP32 module which is a 10 GPIO module with a 2 mega pixel camera with it the camera is used to scan the QR code and give access to the user to open gate. Whenever an authorized QR code which mentioned in program is scanned the door opens and the green LED is switched on and alert is sent to the mobile in the form of a message. But if an unauthorized code is scanned red LED is displayed and also alert is given in the form of alarm sound and will send a message to the user. The existing system has a slide door which is opened using the L293D motor driver IC. So, using the authorized code the slide door is opened. Even to close the door the QR code must be scanned. The security concern is achieved through the alert given to the user every time when it is operated. The proposed system have a feature of identifying availability of slots. IR sensors connected to the ARDUINO for object detection at the respective slots are indicated with the help of LED, so the admin can monitor the available spaces in the parking area by checking the data from the database. To make this process possible in practical world a website is created using HTML, CSS, JAVA Script and SQL database. This website acts like a booking portal where the client can book the slot, get to know the slot details, select the parking time period and all other added features.
