Implementation of QFD in Domestic Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant Industry

Implementing Quality Function Deployment (QFD) in domestic solar power plants involves a systematic approach to ensure customer requirements which are met through every stage of production. The present work highlights the process of applying QFD principles, starting with first quality management principle of customer focus of ISO 9001, gathering customer needs and translating them into design characteristics, materials, and manufacturing processes. Then using the matrix-based process approach to prioritize these requirements, linking them to engineering characteristics, for evidence-based decision-making throughout the development of Photo Voltaic solar power plants. The work also touches upon the potential benefits, such as superior product quality, lower operational expenses, and increased customer happiness, resulting from the effective implementation of QFD in creating an optimized domestic solar power plant.
