Feasibility Study on Integrating Large Scale Solar (LSS) in Malaysian Utility Plants Using ETAP

As the global demand for renewable energy continues to rise, the integration of Large-Scale Solar (LSS) systems into existing utility infrastructure has become a crucial focus for power generation companies. In Malaysia, where the government is actively promoting the adoption of renewable energy sources, utility plants are exploring the feasibility of integrating LSS systems to enhance their sustainability and reduce carbon emissions. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to examine the possibility of integrating LSS systems into the utility plant. The study involves load flow analysis to assess whether the electrical system and equipment are adequate and to identify any issues with the system's operation and plant equipment. The findings will provide valuable insights into the technical feasibility and operational impacts of integrating LSS systems into these utility plants.
