The Gaussian and Weibull Manifestations of Friis Transmission Equation

In this paper, the Gaussian and Weibull forms derived from Friis equation, are presented. The fact that Friis equation is seen as one of deterministic character, has led it to be employed in telecommunications and related fields. However, determinism might be entangled together probabilistic shapes, if only distance transmitter would require to be compensated because environment conditions that produce wave scattering. Therefore, while a compensation term is included, it is observed that Friis equation exhibited a dual role as to its probabilistic as well as deterministic function to estimate the received power in antenna when distance between antennas would be being distorted by external agents linked to atmospheric conditions. Interestingly, the probabilistic shape follows a morphology of a Weibull distribution, fact that would support the idea that Friis transmission equation might to contain in an entangled manner both situations.
