Incidence Detection and Communication with Intelligent Transport Network Digital Twin

With the current evolution in cellular communication towards 6G networks, it is envisioned to provide value added services and enhanced performance for vehicle-to-everything (V2X). In addition to the stringent performance requirements demanding high data rates and ultra-low latency with reliable communication, it is essential to provide safety from all aspects. One possible enabler for the overall optimisation of V2X communications is digital twin (DT) technology. Nevertheless, the DT models and capacities for vehicle communications have not been fully explored in the existing studies. Thus, we present a novel brain-inspired network DT model in the paper for event detection and placement, and subsequently for efficient communication. This proposed solution accommodates intelligent models to detect an accident and communicate with the rescue teams efficiently. The performance of the proposed solution is evaluated with a set of comprehensive experiments.
