Enhancing Sensor Perception: Integrating Multi-Sensor Data for Robust Sensor Perception

This paper discusses a thorough method for integrating and synchronizing many sensors for autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Our system’s primary goals are the accurate placement of several sensors, data recording, inspection, and synchronization of various sensor types, including radar, cameras, IMU, and GNSS. We suggested an effective synchronization technique to align the data streams temporally, ensuring data integration and analysis consistency. This method improves environmental awareness and system integration, leading to progress in combining radar and camera technologies, improving data labeling, and enabling enhanced fusion of sensor data, which is essential for strengthening self-driving cars’ effectiveness and security.
