Supervision Practice of 500kV Three Phase Integrated Main Transformer Equipment for New Energy

In the field of new energy, with the continuous improvement of the construction scale of new energy power stations, the demand for transformers is also increasing accordingly. Due to its characteristics, new energy generation equipment requires multi-stage boosting to meet grid standards, which means that new energy generation equipment with the same capacity requires a larger transformer capacity compared to traditional energy equipment. In December 2023, the largest onshore wind power base in China will be put into operation in Xing'an League. This project is the first 500kV voltage level onshore wind power project to be connected to the grid, and the first new energy project to use a 500kV substation for ultra-high voltage transmission and consumption. The equipment supervision unit is also the first to implement the supervision work of the entire production process of 500kV level three-phase integrated main transformers. Focusing on the quality plan of 500kV main transformers, the supervision work of key processes is strengthened, fully reflecting the value of equipment supervision work and providing guarantee for the successful electrification of major new energy projects.
