Ecomob-Empowering Urban Mobility with E-Rickshaws and E-Bikes Through Online Raid Hailing Platform

There are so many online ride hailing platforms for ride booking and ride accepting. But our aim is to create a platform that offers rides at affordable prices and allows only electric vehicles. In this way we can create an environment friendly ride hailing platform for ride bookings. The app is easy to use and understand. As a part of electric vehicle detection, we ask the picture of RC (Registration certificate) of the driver who are going to use this app for accepting rides, our app checks for the keywords and detects it as electric vehicle by checking the fuel field in the RC. If the field is battery, then it is detected as electric vehicle or if the field is petrol or diesel or something else then it won't accept the vehicle for further process in the app. There are different technologies we have used in implementing this paper. These include React Native and CSS for frontend, Google Vision API for text extraction, Google Maps API for mapping interface and Google Distance Metric API for routes and distance.
