S-band Omnidirectional Airborne Antenna Stealth Design

With the rapid development of modern radar technology, the RF stealth design of airborne battlefield reconnaissance radar is of great significance for improving the combat performance of airborne platforms. In view of the needs of stealth technology, an antenna with improved stealth performance by improving the shape of the airborne antenna was designed, that is, the traditional knife-shaped antenna was improved to a diamond-shaped cylindrical antenna. Through the stealth simulation of the two antennas, the mean RCS values of the two antennas at different frequencies and different polarizations are obtained, and the data are compared, and the RCS value of the antenna is greatly reduced under the condition of satisfying the electrical performance of the antenna, which verifies the feasibility of stealth design improvement.
