A Non-Isolated High Step-Up DC-DC Converter Using Switched-Capacitor

The present paper introduces a novel non-isolated high-gain DC-DC converter. In the new converter, the switched-capacitor (SC) method is utilized to achieve voltage gain. The major aim of the new topology compared with other topologies of the same type is to achieve greater voltage gain with an uncomplicated structure and with minimum voltage stress on semiconductor devices. Additional benefits include constant input current and positive polarity, offering a mutual reference point between the input source and load. Design parameters, semiconductor device voltage stresses, and theoretical analysis are determined when the device is under continuous conduction mode (CCM). PLECS software is lastly used to provide simulation output and verify proposed converter equations.
