Influence of Rigid Bus Connection on Coupling Effects of Equipment Subjected to Earthquake

Using the finite element software ABAQUS, established the independent finite element model of disconnecting switch, current transformer and S-type telescopic tube bus and the overall model of the connection, analyzed the mode difference between the independent and coupling states, and conducted the seismic action input calculation, to explore the influence of the coupling effect on the electrical equipment. The results show that while the displacement of high frequency equipment is reduced, the displacement of low frequency equipment is smaller than the independent time. Moreover, the greater the frequency difference between the two equipment in the connection system, the greater the dynamic response of the equipment is enlarged and reduced. And the use of expansion joints with small line stiffness in the connection system is beneficial to reduce the dynamic response of the device. Under the premise of satisfying the electrical function, the connection mode should avoid the torsion effect caused by asymmetry.
