Design of the position profile of motion dynamics based on the hyperbolic tangent function

As the industrial sector expands, the manipulation of machine motion profiles has become a significant area of focus. The introduction of new profiles can enhance a machine’s stability, precision, and efficiency. This study presents a position profile based on the hyperbolic tangent function to mitigate the jerk effect. The efficacy of this profile was evaluated through Matlab simulations and experimental tests.
