A Blockchain-Based Framework for Efficient and Secure E-Certification Sharing and Verification

It is against this backdrop of the cumbersome and time-consuming process of academic certificate validation in Palestine that we proffer an innovative blockchain-based solution. Automation of certificate creation and verification is supported through our system to reduce manual effort and associated costs. The universities upload certificates and data that get hashed on the blockchain. Verification is supported with QR codes, while cryptographic hashing assures authenticity of data. The proposed blockchain framework therefore guarantees ownership control, transparency, and speed for quick processing. This has been empirically proven to be efficient and superior to conventional techniques of evaluation. The proposed system also subscribes to sustainability objectives, since there will be a huge reduction in the use of paper. In this work, we realize a blockchain-based novel framework for issuance and verification of student certifications with integrity of data, ownership control, and less processing time. Our work proposes a game-changing approach that capitalizes on blockchain's inherent features to upgrade certification processes, reduce bureaucracy, and help preserve the environment.
