Intersection Flow Mechanism of Three-way Control Combiner Valve

Three-way control combiner valves are essential for process control, merging bypass fluids into the main stream while adjusting parameters. Domestic production of these valves is limited, with issues like inadequate control and high flow resistance hindering production reliability and efficiency. This study investigates the flow mechanism, deriving an analytical expression for local loss head under defined conditions using fluid mechanics equations. Experimental data validate the expression. Analysis of local loss variations under different valve openings, inlet pressure differences, and outlet flow rates offers insights for performance improvement and design optimization of three-way control combiner valves.
