The Development Research and Case Studies of New Energy Systems Utilizing Smart Low-Carbon Technologies

This paper focuses on the construction and development of new energy systems centered around the power grid, exploring key pathways to achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. The article provides a detailed overview of the development history of Integrated Energy Systems (IES), highlighting the challenges posed by the high penetration of clean energy into the power grid, including the impact on grid stability and existing difficulties in the new energy system, such as technological complexity, lack of standardized protocols, and the effects of electric vehicle charging behaviors on the grid. The paper thoroughly explains the critical technologies in the current stage of new energy systems and, through a case study of the construction of a new energy system in a district of Shenzhen, demonstrates the practices and achievements of deploying efficient new energy solutions in high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-density building areas. The project’s energy savings under the new energy system are greater than $\mathbf{3 0 \%}$ and the annual carbon reduction reaches $\mathbf{4 7, 2 0 0}$ tons. This case provides valuable insights for the intelligent and sustainable development of future energy systems.
