Research on Different Types of Counterweight Optimization Selection Methods in Elevator Production and Design

This paper presents a mathematical model for optimizing the design of elevator counterweights. The model ensures compliance with safety regulations and balance coefficient constraints, while prioritizing cost optimization. It also considers the impact of shaft size, equipment processing capacity, counterweight density, and type on the length of the counterweight, determining a suitable stacking height and quality range for the counterweight blocks. Additionally, the model optimizes the number and type combination of counterweight blocks. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach enhances elevator design efficiency and cost control. Practical applications have confirmed the effectiveness and feasibility of this model.
