Development of Integrated Vibration-Temperature Sensor for Bearing Fault Diagnosis and Safety Monitoring

This paper presents a high-range, compact, high-resonance frequency vibration-temperature integrated sensor designed for the application requirements of fault diagnosis and safety monitoring of tail rotor joystick bearings. The specific dimensions of the sensitive structure were simulated and optimized based on the FEA software of COMSOL. The sensor uses platinum resistance and piezoelectric ceramics to detect temperature and vibration, respectively. The sensor elements are then integrated with the sensor structure, completing the fabrication of the integrated vibration and temperature sensor. Finally, the main performance indicators of the sensor, including sensitivity, sensitivity error, and resonance frequency, were tested and found to meet the development requirements.
