Research on quotation strategy and clearing model of energy storage participating in power market

As the proportion of renewable energy increases, the demand for efficient energy storage systems on the grid continues to grow. In this paper, a comprehensive market clearing and pricing model of energy storage is proposed by combining the bidding strategy of energy storage and the clearing and pricing method of energy storage right. The model includes the trading of power rights and capacity rights to meet the diverse needs of users, and introduces a bidding strategy based on the charge and discharge price difference to optimize the market participation of energy storage users. We have established a unified clearing model and designed a fair pricing method to ensure that the interests of all market players are protected under various market conditions. Through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, this model not only maximizes the economic value of energy storage and improves the benefits of energy storage users, but also improves social welfare and ensures the reasonable benefits of power generation, load and energy storage parties. Compared with the traditional market clearing mechanism, this model more effectively ADAPTS to the needs of energy storage users and reduces the risk of price fluctuations.
