Secure Data Disposal Algorithm for Edge Computing-Enhanced Cloud Platforms

To address the issue of reduced data transmission efficiency in cloud platforms due to microservice failures, this paper proposes a data transmission algorithm based on edge computing. Initially, data cleaning, deduplication, and anonymization preprocessing are performed at edge nodes to reduce the volume of transmitted data and protect privacy. A secure data transmission mechanism is then implemented using SSL/TLS protocols to ensure data integrity and security throughout the transmission process. Furthermore, a rapid fault recovery mechanism is designed to enable prompt restoration of data and services on the cloud platform in the event of edge node failures, ensuring high availability of the platform. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method significantly improves data processing and transmission efficiency, reduces system response latency, and enhances the stability and reliability of the cloud platform.
