Design of A Traffic Control Mechanism Based on O-RAN

With the development of mobile networks, 5G mobile networks provide higher speeds for application services with different network requirements, and the bandwidth requirements for RAN services are also increasing. However, O-RAN node network resources will be limited by their installation locations. Therefore, bandwidth resources must be allocated efficiently to prevent RAN services from being restricted due to insufficient bandwidth. Therefore, this study design is based on the traffic control mechanism of the O-RAN architecture. Through this study design, we can improve the bandwidth resource allocation of O-RAN node according to different usage scenarios. This prevents O RAN node bandwidth resources from being concentrated on a single RAN service, ensuring that the connection quality requirements of other RAN services are also met.
