Design of Microwave Oscillator for System of Air Monitoring or Distance Determination

The analysis of the error of homodyne measurement methods caused by transient processes in the PLL circuit of the reference oscillator during its frequency tuning is carried out. A new approach to the synthesis of the probing signal in the system of air monitoring with homodyne frequency conversion is proposed. The approach is based on minimizing the phase error of the output signal of the frequency synthesizer when analyzing the numerical model of the PLL loop.
