Design and Implementation of an Ultrasonic Audio Jamming System

This paper details the design and implementation of an audio jamming system intended to protect against unauthorized recordings. The system integrates an ultrasonic jamming signal generator, an audio signal recognition module, and a control module. Addressing the increasing risk of illicit recordings brought about by ubiquitous recording devices, the system employs ultrasonic jamming technology to disrupt the functionality of recording devices while minimally affecting normal communication. Utilizing STM32F429 as the core controller, the system precisely adjusts the output power of ultrasonic signals through PWM modulation. Rigorous testing demonstrates that the system can effectively jam recording devices within a range of 6 meters, with minimal impact on normal audio communication. The proposed solution exhibits robust performance and is well-suited for privacy-sensitive scenarios such as meetings and commercial negotiations.
