Coordinate Switching Control of Source-Load-Storage in Power Grid Based on MAS

In this paper, a coordinated energy management strategy for power grid based on the multi-agent hierarchical control structure is proposed to guarantee an efficient and safe energy source for local loads. The multi-agent system (MAS)-based two-level hierarchical control process consists of upper energy coordinated control level and lower terminal devices control level, solving the complex switching control of multiple operation modes in power source and energy storage system. The switching process of power grid is constructed based on the fuzzy petri-net theory for describing the discrete behaviors of power source and energy storage units. Ensuring loads voltage safety, the upper coordinated control agents send corresponding control commands to the lower units through the interactions among each agent. Note that the mainly power output of power grid comes from power source, which is uncontrollable due to the unpredictable weather. Energy storage agents can make the power replenishment have a favorable performance. Finally, simulations prove the effectiveness of proposed control strategy.
