Development of a fully automatic tea bag packaging machine based on neural network algorithms

With the improvement of living standards and changes in tea-drinking habits, the demand for tea bags in the market is continuously increasing [1]. However, traditional tea bags have limitations in terms of visual appeal and flavor [2]. This study introduces a new type of automatic packaging machine that integrates packaging, custom printing, and cutting, enhancing both efficiency and attractiveness. The equipment employs a spraying mechanism to directly apply edible syrup or flavoring agents onto the surface of the tea bags, thereby improving their visual effect and taste. This paper utilizes neural networks and PID algorithms to describe how to precisely control the spraying of patterns on the tea bag surface and the dispensing speed of the tea leaves. Through experimental testing, we obtained process parameters for tea leaf dispensing, surface spraying, and drying during the production of tea bags. The experimental results show that this method significantly improves production efficiency, reduces manual intervention, and enhances customization capabilities. This innovation is expected to transform the tea bag packaging industry, meet diverse consumer demands, simplify production processes, and drive future development and innovation in the industry.
