Design a Smart Drug System in the Pharmaceutical Industry

The design of smart systems that deal with drugs in the pharmaceutical industry is centered on the use of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data analysis to improve the development of medicines and treatments, as these systems have become of high importance and played an important role. The aim of this study is to create an accurate system based on automation that retains important information for drug management for easy reference at any time, and this directly affects the facilitation of the healthcare system. In this paper, a system is designed by creating graphical interfaces in the sharp C language and linking them to a database with Microsoft Access to manage pharmaceutical information and easily reference it at any time thanks to interfaces that are easy to use even for the unskilled. When a specific drug is not available, an alternative drug is proposed using the Jaccard similarity and KNN algorithm based on the features specific to each drug through Matlab. The calculations showed that the algorithm’s prediction accuracy ${9 7 \%}$ for anti-diabetes and ${9 6 \%}$ for blood related medications. The design results indicate that the system provides detailed and quick information about medicines and this leads to improved quality of life for patients.
