Design and experimental study of integrated multidimensional force measuring tool-holder

INTRODUCTION: In view of the force testing process in milling, this paper proposes a multi-dimensional force testing tool-holder based on HSK 63A tool holder, beam force sensor and strain gauge bridge. METHODS: In response to the structural stifness of the force measuring tool-holder, simulation driven optimization was carried out. On this basis, the construction of the force measuring tool-holder detection platform was completed. Finally, this article conducted experimental research on static calibration and dynamic testing of the force measuring tool holder. RESULTS: The results show that compared with the reference force measuring instrument, the measurement errors of axial force, radial resultant force, and torque are controlled within $9.5 \%, 8.7 \%$, and 6.7%, respectively.
