A Comprehensive Assessment of Application Deployment: Towards the Perspective of User Experience

In today’s technologically advanced world, the idea of a cashless society has become increasingly significant. This shift moves away from dependence on physical cash for financial transactions and embraces a range of digital alternatives, including bank cards, online banking, and electronic wallets. Despite the growing trend toward cashless transactions, many institutions continue to use traditional methods. These institutions have yet to fully embrace the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into their operations, where the campus card primarily serves basic functions such as identity authentication. The campus card does not offer features such as real-time expense tracking, limiting users’ ability to monitor their finances conveniently. In order to address these limitations, the Campus Card Application (CCA) was developed as a subsystem seamlessly integrated into the institution’s canteen management system. Its purpose is to enhance the functionality of the existing campus card, reduce reliance on cash payments, and improve the accessibility of financial activities on campus. Quantitative research was conducted through a questionnaire survey administered to Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) Johor Branch to evaluate the effectiveness of the application. The objective was to verify users’ satisfaction levels concerning the application’s usability, usefulness, and overall satisfaction. The questionnaire underwent rigorous reliability and validity testing using statistical tools, which confirmed its effectiveness. The User Experience Testing results confirm the study’s success, with $\mathbf{9 0. 5 \%}$ of respondents indicating satisfaction with the application. Furthermore, 85.7% expressed a wish to use the application again in the future. This encouraging feedback underscores the application’s effectiveness and promotes greater acceptance of cashless transactions, advancing modern payment methods within the community.
