Calculation and prediction of maximum short-circuit current of circuit breakers under different working conditions

The maximum short-circuit current that a circuit breaker can break is an important indicator of its arc extinguishing performance and is also affected by different working conditions. The temperature distribution in the arc extinguishing chamber during the circuit breaker breaking process under different working conditions was calculated, and a temperature-based circuit breaker breaking criterion was proposed. The maximum short-circuit current that the circuit breaker can break under different working conditions was obtained, and an artificial neural network was used to predict the maximum short-circuit current that the circuit breaker can break under working conditions not covered by the calculation.
