LoRa WAN Based Smart System for Unsafe Event Detection in Mining Industry Using ML

Protection of the workforce in any organization not to mention at the mining grade is a key factor that ought to be considered by any business. This is especially critical, from the health perspective of the employees and the overall health of the corporation in question. Clean fresh air is essential to the welfare of the mining workers and their overall health. A classical model of smart systems has been Lower has been established in the mining industry to introduce a LoRa based to detect hazardous events in mining zones. The developed prototype can detect the quality of air, humidity, temperature, and landslides. Air quality depends on the saturation of harmful gases such as methane gas with the aid of MQ4, MQ7 & Optical dust Sensors. The temperature and humidity of the atmosphere are measured by the DHT11 Sensor. Flame and accelerometer sensors are required for the identification of fire accidents and landsides of mining Zones. Any vehicular accident can be predicted using a machine learning model by training data obtained from various sensors in a sensor node by employing ML. In line with this, most decisions can be made using opted-ML on the devices without the need to transfer data to the actual cloud leading to better efficiency and security. Automatic notification and response to the scene with the online evacuation route assistance in case of an emergency, for instance, fires or gas leaks, can be offered by IoT. Implementation is a bit divided into two parts that include the Transmitter module and the Receiver Module with the LoRa through IoT (LoRaWAN).
