Designing a Home Management System using Sensors, Fire alarms, and Monitoring devices

In an era where there is advancement in technology, the integration of smart technologies into our daily lives has become necessary. This will help reshape our lives and how we interact with the world around us. In this research, we designed and implemented a comprehensive home management system (HMS) that uses sensor technology, fire alarms, and monitoring devices to enhance safety, convenience, and energy efficiency within residential environments. This will be seamlessly integrated into everyday life and make life simple. The research explored the technical aspects of the design, including sensor selection, software development, mobile application development, and system wiring. The development process followed an iterative approach, involving prototyping, testing, and refinement to ensure reliability, responsiveness, and robustness. Voice recognition technology was integrated into the HMS. This allowed users to issue voice commands for a wide range of tasks, from adjusting lighting to initiating predefined home scenes, such as "good morning" or "good night". The research achieved its aim by incorporating advanced smoke detectors and fire alarms to detect early fire signs and send alerts to homeowners. The motion sensors also enhanced home security by detecting unauthorized motion within designated areas triggering immediate alerts for potential intruders.
