Fault correlation analysis of the spindle system subsystem of a heavy-duty CNC boring and milling machine

Due to the coupling fault between complex system structures and subsystems, it is difficult to determine the fault location and fault source location, and it is proposed to construct a directed diagram of fault transmission of the spindle system based on the fault data of the spindle system. With the help of the theory of node importance solving in the PageRank algorithm, the fault-related influence degree and fault-related influence degree of the spindle subsystem are calculated, and the obtained affected degree value table can quickly locate the fault location of the spindle system. The derived impact value table can serve as a foundation for diagnosing the fault source, thereby facilitating the formulation of maintenance plans. This is important for improving the reliability of machine tools.
