Implementation of FSK modulation and demodulation: analysis the effects of frequency separations on BER

As a matter of fact, high-speed vehicle communication is currently one of the focal points of communication field especially in recent years. With this in mind, this study focuses on binary frequency shift keying (2FSK) modulated communication signals, examining the factors affecting high-speed vehicle communication as well as the impact of frequency spacing on bit error rate. To be specific, the study will utilize MATLAB simulation, involving several steps including baseband signal generation, inversion of baseband signals, 2FSK modulation, channel noise interference, design of bandpass filters, demodulation, sampling decision, and spectral analysis. According to the analysis, the resulting graphical analysis will investigate the effects of the Doppler effects and multipath effects on high-speed train communication, as well as explore the influence of frequency spacing on the bit error rate. Based on the evaluations, the current limitations will be demonstrated at the same time and the future prospects will be proposed in the meantime.
