Implementation of AI hearing-loss assistive hat

Although the technology of hearing aids has matured, the major problem faced by hearing-loss people is that they are more sensitive to noise. In noisy environments, the noise is also amplified after the hearing aids have compensated for the sound. This compensation is harsh and unpleasant to the hearing-loss people, leading to their reluctance to wear them. This study realizes an intelligent cap for hearing-loss people, with an intelligent lifting OLED display on the brim, which instantly shows the result of the recognition of the audio captured by the microphone. The effect is similar to the subtitles appearing in the movie, which allows the hearing-loss person to have a better experience when wearing the cap. The low cost of this study and the excellent dialog assistance function can help more disadvantaged hearing-loss people in need of help and effectively improve the quality of life of hearing-loss people.
