Research on calculating method of swing angle of drag parachute based on calibration of high speed camera

In response to the complexity and large measurement errors in the current calculation process of drag parachute swing angle, this paper proposes a method of solving the swing Angle of drag parachute for monocular camera based on high speed camera calibration. The monocular high-speed camera is installed in the rocket pulley compartment, and the camera range covers the motion range of the drag parachute, and the swing Angle of the drag parachute is determined by the swing Angle of the main rope of the drag parachute. Calibrate the camera and calculate its internal and external orientation elements; Using collinear condition equation, rotation matrix and space coordinate plane transfer, the space coordinates of main paracode nodes are calculated. Calculate the space coordinates of the main paracord's movement path and the node passing through the main paracord, and the intersection of the space line of the camera's projection center, which is the space coordinates of the main paracord node;Then the pitch and horizontal swing Angles of the drag parachute are calculated.
