Research on control law of a certain type of electro-hydraulic actuator

Industrial sectors make widespread use of electro-hydraulic servo control technology because of its outstanding qualities, which include high load capacity, exceptional power-to-weight ratio, and rapid reaction. This paper addresses the challenges of non-linearity, load disturbance, and time variability in electro-hydraulic servo control systems. It focuses on a specific type of steering gear's electro-hydraulic actuator as the controlled object, using Simulink of MATLAB software to establish a control model and conduct simulation analysis. In comparison to standard PID control, the simulation and experimental findings show that the adaptive PID control algorithm can significantly improve system control precision, decrease system adjustment time, and exhibit high adaptability to parameter changes.
