Material selection and wear resistance analysis of SGZ series scraper conveyor

The scraper conveyor plays the role of bearing, coal, shearer guiding and hydraulic support in the fully mechanized mining face, and is the "backbone" of the whole set of fully mechanized mining equipment. Its performance, reliability and life are the important guarantee for the normal production of fully mechanized mining face and the good technical and economic results. As one of the most important components of the central groove, the choice of materials and the overall wear resistance play a vital role in the overall life of the scraper conveyor. The role of the middle groove in scraper conveyor is mainly as the running track of scraper chain, the running track of shearer and the running channel of coal load. In the actual use process, the damage rate of the middle groove groove gang and the middle plate is very high, and the on-site replacement work is very difficult. In order to reduce the middle of the scraper conveyor groove wear scrap equipment failure and improve its wear resistance, this paper proposed the use of impact resistant chromium manganese alloy steel plate NM20CrMn and high strength cast steel ZG35SiMn for the middle groove, plate and scraper performance enhancement, can under the premise of ensuring strength, increase the wear resistance, to enhance the overall utilization of mine scraper conveyor has great significance.
