Wearable mems devices for wellness and health monitoring

The research on wearable MEMS sensors is popular and beneficial to human life and can be seen in some mature productions such as the Apple Watch, of which the original version was released 10 years ago with a fashion design and multifunctional properties, the highly integrated products make them portable and multifunctional mainly based on optical sensors. By the development of the one decade, many other useful functions were added such as period prediction for women by a temperature sensor, and calorie monitoring. This study, from other perspectives of biophysics and bio-electrochemical reactions, lists several main biological substances that are highly related to human health conditions and analyzes the application cases, knowing the development dilemma such as the single-use environment in the laboratory, high cost of the manufacturing, allergic during the material adherent with skin and so on, giving bits of advice for further development for wearable MEMS sensors research.
