Research on thermal protection design and simulation for high-temperature hydraulic actuators

With the increasing demand of ambient temperature of aircraft actuators, it is urgent to carry out thermal protection design of high temperature hydraulic actuators. In this paper, the thermal protection design and simulation research of hydraulic actuator under high temperature were carried out. Three kinds of thermal protection methods of hydraulic actuator are proposed. Finite element simulation technology was used to analyse the transient temperature field of different thermal protection methods. It is considered that the thermal protection design method using heat insulation layer can reduce the external high temperature transfer to the inner part of the actuator in short time, but cannot prevent the temperature rise of the actuator. The thermal protection design method using that exchange method has better protective effect on the oil temperature of the actuator than the heat insulation method, and can effectively prevent the temperature rise of actuator.
