Future Enterprise as a self-organizing Complex system

The development of future enterprises with high autonomy and adaptability to business, technological and market conditions require new self-organizing and self-optimization architectures and appropriate design formalisms and methodologies. In this work we address the problem of designing such systems with the adoption of mechanisms inspired from biological cognitive and cortical processes.
