Algorithmization and Programming in the Light of Students' Perspectives

This paper addresses practical experiences in the context of methodology in the field of algorithmization and programming, focusing on current challenges and effective approaches that support deeper understanding and the acquisition of practical skills by students, as well as their participation in project implementation. In the introduction, we present the importance of algorithmization and programming in the current educational context, including their key role in developing critical and algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills. We then analyze various educational methods and tools, such as traditional lectures, practical exercises, project-based learning, collaborative education, the flipped classroom model, self-directed learning, and the use of custom-made visualization tools and engaging animated videos that were utilized in the creation of the e-course. The paper also evaluates the effectiveness of these approaches based on various research studies and empirical data. We discuss the challenges faced by educators, including motivational factors, differences in students' knowledge levels, and technical limitations. In the conclusion, we offer recommendations for optimizing the methodology of teaching algorithmization and programming, which include combining traditional and modern approaches with an emphasis on interactivity and individualized learning. Our findings suggest that such a comprehensive approach can significantly impact teaching, student motivation, and student outcomes in this field.
