Proposed transfer control mechanisms and their standardization on IoT Data Exchange Platform

The IoT Data Exchange Platform (IoT DEP) has been standardized in ISO/IEC JTC1/SC41 as one of the interoperability issues. Currently, functional reinforcements of IoT DEP are being planned for the expansion of the ISO/IEC 30161 series. This paper provides an overview of the current IoT DEP and its expansion. Subsequently, it proposes concrete transfer mechanisms, including traffic control, based on content-centric network (CCN) technologies. Finally, it provides the standardization roadmap of IoT DEP, including these proposals in ISO/IEC JTC1/SC41.
