Different Capacitance Multiplier Structures With Noise Analyses For Low Frequency Applications

In this study, comprehensive analyses of two different capacitance multiplier structures have been conducted, and noise optimization strategies have been discussed. There are two different capacitance multiplier structures to be analyzed in terms of noise in this study. The capacitance multiplier structures analyzed for noise are the Multi-Output Voltage Differencing Transconductance Amplifier (MO-VDTA) based capacitance multiplier structures and the Multi-Output Current Differencing Transconductance Amplifier (MO-CDTA) based capacitance multiplier structures. In the MO-VDTA based capacitance multiplier structure, the multiplication factor varies between 120 and 750 depending on the .... current value. Additionally, the cutoff frequency of the second-order low-pass filter implemented with this structure ranges from 2 kHz to 12.4 kHz. The other capacitance multiplier analyzed for noise is the MO-CDTA based capacitance multiplier structure. In this structure, the multiplication factor k varies between 400 and 1250 by changing the ...... voltage of the external PMOS connected to the Z terminal. The MO-CDTA structure has been used in the second order low-pass filter, and it has been observed that the cutoff frequency varies between 23.6 kHz and 91 kHz with the change in the multiplication factor k.
