High performance Binary to Gray code converter using Fredkin Gate

Digital devices rely heavily on binary to grey code converters for effective data transport, error detection and correction. When signal integrity is crucial, the Grey code, which deviates from binary code by just one bit position is chosen. Grey code conversion needs sophisticated logic circuits that are high-performance and low-latency. High-performance solutions have recently been created by researchers, such as Transmission gate-based converter. In contrast to earlier designs, this converter uses a modified Fredkin gate that functions as an XOR gate, which lowers power usage and latency. Simulation shows that the suggested design works better than the alternatives with a delay of just 1.319 ns (7.98% quicker than the transmission gate's 1.454 ns) and power usage of 11.2 uW (22% less than the transmission gate's 13.89 uW). Overall, the Fredkin gate-based converter provides a useful and fast method for converting binary to Grey code, which is appropriate for a range of digital electronics applications.
