A Modified Multiport DC-DC Converter for EVs

To overcome the challenges of integrating different renewable energy sources, a novel multiport DC-DC converter created especially for electric vehicles (EVs) is described. The proposed converter architecture prioritizes fuel cells, wind, solar, and utility grid inputs to deliver more consistent and superior power. System design details, including component selection and control approaches are offered for optimal performance. Simulation results and experimental data verify the usefulness of the converter under different settings showing enhanced efficiency. A comparison of the proposed technology with traditional converters shows its advantages. The effort improves EV power system development and shows promise for the development of reliable and sustainable energy solutions in the automotive sector.
