Improving Emergency Medical Services: Using AI and Image Preprocessing to Track and Detect Ambulances

An ambulance detection system detects ambulances on the roads through their radio call signs. It appears emergency vehicles get through rush hour traffic like that and makes them to be fast even in hard-to-reach places. We want to reduce response times and save from the death of the victims. When an ambulance is seen on the monitor, the system can do whatever it is supposed to do to ensure that it can move along. It can change traffic signal timings to green for the ambulance. It can provide green lights at many intersections, so the ambulance doesn't stop. The system alerts drivers about the ambulance coming. It may give the ambulance a special lane or priority access to some routes. This allows the ambulance to move without being slowed down. Ambulance detection systems greatly improve emergency services. They help ambulances arrive faster. Using technology and smart code, the systems make emergency vehicles move through traffic easily. That saves lives and reduces emergencies impact. We aimed for a model that performs well across many cases and datasets, with good accuracy.
