Dynamic Tuning of Electromagnetic Properties in Active Metamaterials via Variable Capacitance

This paper presents a novel approach for tuning the electromagnetic properties of active metamaterials through variable capacitance. By integrating active devices with adjustable capacitance into the metamaterial structure, dynamic control of the transmission is demonstrated. Simulation results indicate that varying the capacitance significantly affects the effective dielectric constant of the metamaterial. This tunability allows for real-time manipulation of electromagnetic wave propagation, enabling potential applications in adaptive electromagnetic systems. The findings underscore the potential of capacitance-controlled active metamaterials in achieving versatile and reconfigurable electromagnetic responses.
