Random Multiphysics Measurement for Electro-Hydraulic System With Hysteresis Diagnosis

The multiphysics measurement of electro-hydraulic (EH) systems is a challenging task since the multiphysics is random and results from the complicated interaction among elastic responses, viscous flow, and cavitation. To cope with this problem, this work develops a measurement scheme of the random multiphysics (RM) by diagnosing the hysteresis of the EH system performances. First, the framework of the measurement scheme is formulated by developing an original fractal-based identification approach. By employing the Gaussian multiplicative chaos (GMC), the limited measurable information is reconstructed to obtain the invariant structure of the RM. Furthermore, the invariant structure of the RM is further employed to infer the desired information of the RM. Through the diagnosis of the hysteresis, a data-driven iterative strategy is designed to improve the measurement efficiency. To examine the performance of the proposed method, comparisons between the existing works and the proposed method are carried out. The results show that the proposed measurement method outperforms the existing methods with both high accuracy and low computational complexity.
