Crisis Management and its Impact on the Quality of Administrative Decisions Case Study of Greater Amman Municipality/Jordan

The study aimed to identify crisis management and its impact on the quality of administrative decisions in the Greater Amman Municipality, with its dimensions (early warning stage, prevention and preparedness stage, damage containment stage, activity recovery stage, and learning stage). The study also sought to ensure the consistency of these practices with the objectives of the Greater Amman Municipality. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and selected the study population from the employees of the municipality who hold administrative and supervisory positions, totaling 112 individuals. A comprehensive survey method was used due to the small size of the study population, and a questionnaire was utilized as a tool for collecting information from the respondents. A total of 112 questionnaires were distributed, through the electronic link have been fully retrieved and are valid for analysis. The study concluded with several findings, most of notably a high degree of agreement among the respondents regarding the alignment between the stages of crisis management and the quality of administrative decisions in the Greater Amman Municipality. The study recommended the importance of establishing a specialized administrative unit for crisis management.
