Digital Design of Power Supply based on Three-level Regulation

Although the traditional voltage and current dual loop control strategy can basically meet the control requirements of the power supply to a certain extent, it has a current limiting or voltage limiting effect, which can cause the output power to be less than the rated power. Therefore, based on the analysis of the original voltage and current dual loop control strategy, this article adopts a three-level control strategy, aiming to enable the power supply to output at a constant rated power. Firstly, the main hardware of the power supply was designed with the TMS320F240 DSP intelligent chip as the core. Then, the soft switching technology of the power supply was studied through PSPICE simulation analysis. The results showed that the coupling calculation method can effectively achieve the digitalization of the three-level regulation of the power supply, providing reference research for the future digitalization of high-power power supplies.
